The beauty of Charyn is comparable with the Grand Canyon in Colorado, North America. The bizarre shapes left by erosion and weathering will transport you fairyland of fantastical sculptures. The Canyon has preserved an ash - that survived glaciation.

One of the picturesque places in the environs ofAlmaty. It is blessed with coniferous and mixed forests, alpine and sub-alpine meadows, lakes and springs. The gorge is famous for its' waterfalls. The w aterfall is 30 m high.

Here on the rocks you can see an ancient pictures which are more than 3000 years old- On there flat surfaces are found images of both animals and entire scenes created with metal chisel. History buffs and nature lovers alike will find plenty to do in picturesque Tamgaly Gorge.

You will arrive the gorge of Little Almaty. from there you will go to Mountain ski resort Chymbulak which is situated at the high 2400 m in the picturesque place. After little walking you will get to Big Talgar Pass by the rope-way which is 3100 metres high above sea level. It has gorgeous views of surrounding mountains peaksand ridges.

Natural lovers will find unexpected paradise in Altyn Emel. On the right bank of the ILI river, 182 km north-east of Almaty , is a large Singing dune which produces sound similar to of organ. The Singing Dune is 140 meters high. Also you'l see unusual colors of white and red moutains.
